Ashley Belance, a student at Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School (AJMLS), has been named a recipient of the 2025 Gate City Foundation, Inc. Scholarship.
The scholarship is awarded to law students who have demonstrated academic achievement, leadership skills, and commitment to community service. These qualities are central to the missions of both AJMLS and the Gate City Bar Association.
According to the announcement, “The Gate City Foundation Hall of Fame Scholars Program honors future legal professionals who embody the spirit of service, perseverance, and advocacy championed by the Gate City Bar Association. Ms. Belance’s selection as a 2025 scholar highlights her dedication to advancing equity and justice through the law.”
Ms. Belance will be recognized at this year’s Gate City Bar Association Hall of Fame Gala, which reflects ongoing collaboration between AJMLS and local legal organizations in Atlanta.
“AJMLS celebrates Ms. Belance’s accomplishment as a reflection of her hard work, determination, and promise as a future member of the legal community. Her recognition at this year’s Gate City Bar Association Hall of Fame Gala underscores the strong partnership between the law school and Atlanta’s vibrant legal organizations,” stated representatives from AJMLS.
