Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School (AJMLS) held its Mass Swearing-In Ceremony on Friday, October 17, 2025, recognizing alumni who recently passed the Georgia Bar Exam. The event took place on campus and included the official swearing-in of 40 graduates to the Court of Appeals of Georgia, the Supreme Court of Georgia, and the Fulton County Superior Court.
Distinguished members of the Georgia judiciary presided over the ceremony. Justice John J. Ellington from the Supreme Court of Georgia, Presiding Judge Brian M. Rickman from the Court of Appeals of Georgia, and Chief Judge Ural D. Glanville from the Superior Court of Fulton County conducted the swearing-in.
Dean Martin L. Ellin opened the program with a welcome address. Dean Scot Goins, Associate Dean of Academic Achievement and Bar Success, provided congratulatory remarks to those being sworn in. Shilpa Jadwani, President of the AJMLS Alumni Association Board, delivered greetings on behalf of alumni, while AJ Doucett, Director of Alumni Relations, concluded with closing remarks.
A reception followed for alumni, family members, faculty, and friends to celebrate this professional milestone.
The law school congratulated all participating alumni by name in an announcement after the ceremony.
