A team of law students from the University of Georgia School of Law has won the regional championship at the All-Star Bracket Challenge mock trial competition. The team, made up of third-year students Maya E.M. Davis, Kaylah J. Holmes, Eric Narbo, and second-year student Naryan C. Parimi, was coached by alumni Jonathan Stuart and Whitney Stuart.

The group will advance to the national competition in San Antonio in November.

Another team from the University of Georgia also participated in the tournament. Third-year students Andrea D. Bell, Nicole P. Golson, Rosalie J. Vendrell, and Carrington S. Wilkes went undefeated in the preliminary rounds. Wilkes received recognition as Outstanding Advocate. This team was coached by B. Elizabeth “Liz” Tarver.

The All-Star Bracket Challenge is a mock trial competition that brings together law students from various schools to compete in simulated court cases.
