Callaway Chair of Law Emeritus Ronald L. Carlson’s book, "Carlson on Evidence," co-authored with M. Carlson, was recently referenced by the Georgia Court of Appeals in a case concerning attorney-client privilege. The citation occurred during the court's consideration of Royal Texas LLC v. Cajun Global LLC.

According to the University of Georgia School of Law, this latest reference marks the 83rd time that "Carlson on Evidence" has been cited by Georgia appellate courts to help resolve evidentiary matters.

"This citation brings the total to 83 times that this text has been used by Georgia appellate courts to resolve evidentiary issues," according to the announcement from the law school.
