Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School Alumni Association announces new officers for 2025-2026

On August 1, 2025, the Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School (AJMLS) Alumni Association introduced its officers and new board members for the 2025-2026 year. The appointed officers are Shilpa Jadwani (Class of 2012) as President, Kayla Kudratt (Class of 2018) as Vice-President, Michael Murphy (Class of 2011) as Secretary, and Zaira Solano (Class of 2011) as Treasurer.

Among the newly featured board members is Gulliana L. Goehring (Class of 2021), who was born in Peru and has lived in Georgia for over two decades. She completed her education at Georgia State University and currently serves as Managing Partner and Trial Attorney at Fry | Goehring. Discussing her decision to join the board, Goehring stated, "I joined the AJMLS Alumni Board to give back to the law school that was a fundamental part of my legal education and professional growth. It is an opportunity to help grow and strengthen the alumni network and assist upcoming graduates to have the same or even greater opportunities I had." She added, "I want my firm and myself to be a resource, mentor, and advocate for AJMLS alumni and current students. Building and managing a firm and/or a legal career is not easy and can present many challenges along the way. However, together we can help each other to overcome some of those challenges and learn from our mistakes and successes. I am hoping to help as a Board member to foster an environment where alumni and students can grow their legal careers, feel empowered, and widen their network and community outreach."

Mark A. Green (Class of 2011), raised in Adrian, Georgia with degrees from Georgia Southern University, owns Findlay, Edenfield & Green, LLC specializing in real estate and estate planning. He explained his motivation for joining: "To help to reach alumni that are outside of the Atlanta Area!" He also shared personal information: "I have an amazing wife, and two wonderful children. I love to help people however I can, if I can."

Glenda Mitchell (Class of 2016), from South Carolina with education at Anderson University, operates Glenda Mitchell Law Firm focusing on personal injury law. She said about her involvement: "I joined the AJMLS board because I’m passionate about giving back to the institution that provided me with such a strong foundation for my legal career. Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School gave me invaluable knowledge, skills, and opportunities, and I’m proud to be an alumnus. Serving on the board allows me to help ensure future students have access to the same quality legal education that shaped my professional journey. I’m committed to supporting the school’s mission and contributing to its continued growth and success." Mitchell emphasized support for entrepreneurial paths: "I want fellow alumni and current students to know that a law degree from AJMLS can lead to a successful solo practice...Having navigated the transition from law school to practice, I understand the challenges and am here as a resource..."

Daniel J. Nagel (Class of 2012), raised in Clayton County with academic credentials from Georgia State University, leads The Nagel Law Firm which handles various injury claims. On his participation he noted: "To become more involved in the law school’s activities and hopefully have the opportunity to mentor young upcoming lawyers." Nagel also remarked on professional seriousness: "I am very fun and not too serious but I take being a lawyer extremely serious. We all took an oath to represent our client’s [sic]..."

Whitnie Riden (Class of 2021), originally from Woodstock with degrees from Georgia State University, is Managing Partner at The Riden Law Firm focusing on sports & entertainment law as well as IP/estate planning work. On her reasons for joining she said: "I wanted to give back to the law school that helped shape me into the attorney I am today! When I was student [sic], there were several alumni who mentored me...and I want to be that for our future leaders." Riden offered ongoing support: "I am always a phone call or text away..."
