Ronald L. Carlson, Callaway Chair of Law Emeritus at the University of Georgia School of Law, has had his book "Carlson on Evidence," co-authored with M. Carlson, cited by the Georgia Court of Appeals in the case Rubio v. State. The court used the text to support its decision regarding a state cross examination.
According to the University of Georgia School of Law, this citation marks the 82nd time that "Carlson on Evidence" has been referenced by Georgia appellate courts when addressing evidentiary matters.
"The citation brings the total to 82 times that this text has been used by Georgia appellate courts to resolve evidentiary issues," stated a release from the law school.
