Associate Professor Thomas E. Kadri presented his upcoming article, “Deepfake Torts: Emerging Tort Frameworks in U.S. Deepfakes Regulation,” at the Journal of Tort Law symposium held in July. The article is co-authored with Sonja R. West, who holds the Brumby Distinguished Professorship in First Amendment Law.

The symposium, titled “Tort Liability for Deepfakes,” brought together legal scholars to discuss how tort law is adapting to address issues raised by deepfake technology.
