The School of Law has announced the recipients of its 2024-25 faculty and staff awards, recognizing several individuals for their contributions to education and student relations. The awards, which are decided by students, highlight excellence in various areas of academia.

Matthew I. Hall received the Brown Professionalism Award. Jean Goetz Mangan was honored with the Watson Award for Outstanding Legal Research or Writing Instructor. Rob McNiff earned the Lanier Award for Excellence in Clinical Education.

John B. Meixner Jr. was recognized with the Ellington Award for Excellence in Teaching and also served as Graduation Faculty Marshal. Gregory L. “Greg” Roseboro received the Excellence in Undergraduate Education Award.

Peter B. “Bo” Rutledge was awarded the O’Byrne Memorial Award for Significant Contributions Furthering Student-Faculty Relations and also served as Graduation Faculty Marshal. Anthony E. “Tony” Waller was named Outstanding Staff Member.

These awards underscore the dedication and impact these faculty and staff members have on their students and the broader academic community.
