Associate Dean and Martin Chair of Law Andrea L. Dennis has published a new article titled “Countries as Laboratories: Reflections on Sierra Leone’s Amended Anti-Human Trafficking Law.” This work appears in the 53rd volume of the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law, issue number one for the year 2025.
Dennis explores the implications and effectiveness of Sierra Leone's revised anti-human trafficking legislation within her piece. Her analysis considers how countries can act as experimental grounds for testing new legal frameworks aimed at combating human trafficking.
This publication contributes to ongoing discussions in international law about how different nations approach complex global issues such as human trafficking.
