Ja’Quan Fulton, a first-generation college and law student from Clayton County, has been named the 2025-2026 President of the Student Bar Association at Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School. Before entering law school, Fulton built a career in real estate as a licensed agent and co-owner of a brokerage firm. He also founded the Real Estate Legal Society at the law school to connect education with industry.

Fulton has served in various roles such as 2L Class Representative and Fundraising Chair for the Black Law Students Association. As SBA President, he aims to enhance opportunities and support for students, fostering an environment that prepares them to lead in the legal profession.

Jayla Hill, a third-year law student from Orangeburg, South Carolina, will serve as Vice President. She co-founded the Real Estate Legal Society and has been active in other organizations like the Black Law Students Association. Hill is focused on creating job opportunities for students through collaboration with Career Services.

Taylor Williams from Miami, Florida takes on the role of Secretary. With a strong focus on criminal justice, she has earned accolades such as Top Oralist at moot court competitions and was recognized as Top Intern by District Attorney Fani T. Willis during her time at the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office.

Steven McCalman from Queens, New York will be Treasurer. He participated in City University of New York School of Law's Pipeline to Justice program and worked his way up from File Clerk to Paralegal at a personal injury law firm before pursuing his legal studies.

Cristina Pavon-Baker from Atlanta will serve as Parliamentarian. Her commitment to community service began early with volunteer work at local shelters and internships with both Solicitor General’s Office and Public Defender’s Office.

These appointments reflect a diverse group committed to enhancing student experiences at Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School through leadership roles within the Student Bar Association.
