The Atlanta John Marshall Law School (AJMLS) has announced the new Editorial Board for its Law Journal's 2025-2026 term. The board will be led by Editor-in-Chief Madeline Townsend, a third-year law student with a background in political science and criminal justice. Townsend has been recognized with the CALI Award for Critical Race Theory and has actively participated in legal research and community service.
Jacob Moskowitz will serve as the Executive Managing Editor. Moskowitz brings experience from his previous role as a corporate communications manager at Turner Broadcasting. He aims to enhance editorial procedures within the journal.
David Smith has been appointed as the Executive Legislative & Recent Case Summaries Editor. A second-year law student, Smith has contributed to legal discussions on sports betting legislation and case law regarding malice murder defenses.
Kendice Armstrong, originally from Belize, takes on the role of Executive Symposium Editor. Her work includes examining legislation affecting public libraries and she is involved in community mentoring programs.
Chloe Strickland-Teems, serving as Executive Research Editor, is a part-time evening student who focuses on child welfare advocacy. She intends to bridge gaps between part-time students and the journal through her role.
Philip Pringle, appointed as Online Access & Internet Presence Editor, is preparing to become the first attorney in his family. His legislative work involves mental health awareness for student athletes.
The faculty advisor for the Law Journal continues to be Professor Jeffrey A. Van Detta, who supports these students in their academic and professional development.
