M. Drake Jones, a third-year law student, has been named the inaugural Academic All-American Trial Advocate by the National Association of Legal Advocacy Educators. This accolade is awarded to a student who has demonstrated exceptional success in courtroom advocacy competitions, shown leadership and fellowship within the law school community, and excelled academically.
Jones will additionally represent the University of Georgia at the upcoming Top Gun XVI National Mock Trial Competition. This event is an elite, invitation-only tournament for law schools that have had notable performances in mock trial competitions over the past year.
