Terry wins UGA moot court competition; Kishore secures finalist position

The 2025 First-year Moot Court Competition concluded with first-year student Julia A. Terry securing the championship title. Terry also received the Morehead Best Oralist Award. Another first-year student, Divya Kishore, finished as the finalist in the tournament.

The final round of the competition was evaluated by prominent figures, including University of Georgia President Jere W. Morehead, a graduate in 1980; Supreme Court of Georgia Justice Verda M. Colvin, who graduated in 1990; and U.S. Circuit Judge Stephanie D. Thacker.

The competition was recognized as a success thanks to the efforts of all participants, alongside the achievements of Terry and Kishore.
