The recent National Trial Competition (NTC) saw notable achievements for the School of Law, with second-year student Dresden L. Day and third-year student M. Drake Jones earning a place among the top four teams in the nation. Their success was further highlighted by their selection as the most professional team and Jones receiving the best advocate award, a first for a University of Georgia student.

The team was coached by Jeremy Dailey, a graduate from the class of 2014, and Haley Kairab, a graduate from the class of 2022. Additional support was provided by second-year students Brianna N. House and Ethan Thomas, who served as witnesses during the competition.

The NTC is organized by the Texas Young Lawyers Association and attracts participation from over 150 law schools, involving more than 1,000 law students every year. This year's event saw participation from more than 300 teams.
