The University of Georgia (UGA) proudly announces that its law students participated with notable success in the recent Intrastate Moot Court Competition. The UGA team comprising second-year students H. Maddi Hughes and Alexis Bartholomew achieved the distinction of winning the Best Brief Award and emerged as finalists in the competition. Another team from UGA, including Avery C. Hill, Charlotte L. Umanoff, and Harsh Patel, reached the semifinals.

Both teams benefitted from the guidance of their coach team, consisting of third-year students Benjamin W. "Ben" Sowell, Natalya D. Moody, and Michael E. Lomax. Additionally, 2022 alumnus Cole Harper provided advisement to the teams.

Photo documentation from the event captures Maddi Hughes, Alexis Bartholomew, Charlotte Umanoff, Avery Hill, and Harsh Patel. With this success, UGA celebrates its students' dedication and skill in the moot court competition.
