Judge Glenda Hatchett to speak at Atlanta's John Marshall Law School commencement

Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School has announced that Judge Glenda Hatchett will be the commencement speaker for the 2025 graduation ceremony scheduled for May 17th. Judge Hatchett's career includes significant contributions to law, television, and corporate leadership. She is recognized for her initiatives in juvenile reform and was Georgia’s first Black Chief Judge of a State Court.

Judge Hatchett's achievements include presiding over Fulton County’s Juvenile Court and receiving the United States Justice Department’s Roscoe Pound Award for Criminal Justice Reform. She has served on the boards of several Fortune 500 companies, including HCA, The Gap Inc., and ServiceMaster Company. Additionally, she is known as a motivational speaker, author, and television personality with her two-time Emmy-nominated show, "Judge Hatchett." Her career spans over four decades.

“I’m honored to deliver the commencement address because we are celebrating a new generation of young lawyers joining our honorable profession,” said Judge Hatchett.
