Assistant Professor Meighan Parker has been chosen to participate in the University of Georgia Rural Engagement Workshop 2025 cohort. This program, which is limited to a maximum of 20 faculty members, aims to support collaborative research that benefits rural areas in Georgia.
Parker's project focuses on collaborating with rural Black churches to create telehealth spaces on church campuses. The initiative seeks to address potential healthcare gaps in these communities and tackle legal challenges associated with such partnerships.
