The University of Georgia School of Law has achieved success in the National Trial Competition (NTC), with students M. Drake Jones and Dresden L. Day winning Region VI. This victory allows them to represent UGA at the national level of the competition scheduled for April. The achievement marks the fourth consecutive year that UGA has secured a win in this regional contest.

Jones, a third-year student, and Day, a second-year student, were guided by Director of Advocacy Kellie Casey. They received additional support from alumni Jeremy Dailey, Haley Kairab, and Cole Harper.

The NTC is organized by the Texas Young Lawyers Association and sees participation from over 150 law schools across the nation, involving more than 1,000 law students annually.
