The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia has announced that its Atlanta and Newnan divisions will be closed on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. This decision is due to hazardous driving conditions resulting from wintry weather.

While the Newnan courthouse will be completely closed, the Atlanta courthouse will still allow filings through a drop box. Meanwhile, the Gainesville and Rome divisions of the court are set to operate during their regular hours.
