The University of Georgia (UGA) has emerged victorious in the regional round of the National Moot Court Competition, which took place recently in Atlanta. The winning team consisted of third-year students Mona E. Abboud, Taylor L. Stablein, and Casey E. Wofford. The team remained undefeated throughout the tournament and also received several individual accolades.

Mona E. Abboud was named Best Oralist for the final round, while Casey E. Wofford earned the title of Best Oralist for the preliminary round. Additionally, the team won the Best Brief Award. These achievements qualify them to represent UGA at the national level of this competition, which will be held in New York City in January.

The National Moot Court Competition is co-sponsored by the American College of Trial Lawyers and the New York City Bar Association. It is a prestigious event with participation from more than 180 accredited law schools and over 1,000 students each year.
