Earlier today, U.S. News & World Report released its latest ranking of the nation’s law schools, with the University of Georgia School of Law once again securing a position in the Top 20. This marks the second consecutive year that UGA Law has achieved this milestone, its highest ranking to date. The School of Law continues to hold the title of the highest-ranked law school in the state of Georgia for the fourth year and is recognized among the top seven public law schools in the nation.

Dean Peter B. "Bo" Rutledge highlighted the collaborative efforts that have led to the school's success, stating, "All of these markers of success were achieved through the efforts of many." He expressed gratitude towards the graduates, friends, faculty, and staff for their contributions to the school's achievements, including funding scholarships, providing jobs, and ensuring student success.

Rutledge also acknowledged the support of the UGA administration, led by President Jere Morehead, and the UGA Foundation, as unwavering supporters of the school's vision. He emphasized the commitment of the faculty and staff to the students, noting that they are dedicated to ensuring each student's success.

In closing, Dean Rutledge expressed his appreciation for everyone involved in the school's continued success, stating, "I greatly appreciate everyone who has played a role in the school's sustained success in offering a world-class, hands-on, purpose-driven educational experience while never surrendering its commitment to accessibility." He concluded by affirming, "We truly are redefining what it means to be a great national public law school!"
