Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School (AJMLS) recently marked a significant milestone with the grand opening of its new lecture hall, student lounge, and study center on Monday, March 18, 2024. The event was a culmination of dedicated efforts to enhance the school's facilities and provide a conducive environment for its students.
Dean Jace C. Gatewood expressed his enthusiasm about the new additions, stating, "The addition of this new floor is a testament to our commitment to providing a supportive and enriching environment for all members of our community." He further emphasized, "We believe that these new facilities will not only enhance the daily experience but also contribute significantly to academic and personal growth."
The expansion of Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School into the Marquis One Tower has brought about a range of new features and amenities for students. The new space includes a state-of-the-art lecture hall named after Dr. Michael C. Markovitz, a spacious student lounge, modern study areas, student organization offices, a large kitchen area, and additional student-centered spaces.
Acknowledging the efforts of the facilities team and creative minds behind the campus expansion, the Law School expressed gratitude for their dedication and hard work. The school is now looking forward to hosting the Department of Justice’s Access to Justice team as they conclude their National Law School tour at the Law School. Additionally, the new Markovitz Lecture Hall will kick off its opening week by hosting the Law Journal Symposium this Friday.
The unveiling of these new campus additions not only signifies a physical expansion but also a commitment to providing a supportive and enriching educational environment for the students of Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School.
