A man with ties to Atlanta’s Kirkwood neighborhood has been indicted on several charges, including aggravated stalking, after an incident involving alleged harassment and indecent exposure at a woman’s home.
A DeKalb County Grand Jury indicted Rodney Lee Stroud, 53, on two counts of Aggravated Stalking, as well as Public Indecency and Peeping Tom charges. The indictment follows an investigation into events that occurred late Sunday evening in the Kirkwood area.
According to the Atlanta Police Department, officers responded around 10:25 p.m. to a report of a suspicious person at a residence on Memorial Drive, SE. The homeowner identified Stroud from previous incidents in the neighborhood, including one that involved her in 2018.
The resident told police she heard loud banging on her door and checked her surveillance cameras. She observed Stroud on her front porch looking through windows. Video footage reportedly showed Stroud engaging in lewd behavior.
The homeowner said she yelled from an upstairs window for Stroud to leave and informed him that police had been called. Officers arrested Stroud and booked him into the DeKalb County Jail shortly after midnight on November 18, 2025.
Stroud is being held without bond at the DeKalb County Jail. He is scheduled for arraignment on January 6, 2026 before DeKalb County Superior Court Judge Gregory A. Adams.
