AMZ Prep announced on its website that Georgia accounts for more than 134,000 Amazon seller-supported jobs.

Amazon's marketplace has become a significant source of job creation in the United States, driven by independent sellers leveraging its fulfillment and eCommerce tools. According to the 2024 Small Business Empowerment Report, these sellers contribute significantly to state-level economies, employing workers in logistics, marketing, and operations. Their expansion demonstrates how Amazon’s ecosystem supports local employment across diverse industries.

Independent sellers on Amazon now employ more than 2 million people nationwide, reflecting an 11% year-over-year increase from 2023. These totals exclude indirect job creation from warehousing, logistics providers, and professional services, suggesting the platform’s overall economic footprint is even greater.

Amazon itself has grown into one of the largest U.S. employers, reporting more than 1.5 million employees globally in 2025. It has created more jobs over the last decade than any other U.S.-based company, spanning fulfillment centers, delivery stations, technology offices, and corporate roles. These direct jobs add to the employment impact generated by independent sellers.

AMZ Prep is a logistics and fulfillment company serving Amazon third-party sellers with services such as Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) prep, direct-to-consumer fulfillment, and cold storage. Operating more than 50 warehouses across North America and Europe, it provides flat-rate pricing for shipment preparation and integrates with major marketplaces. Its platform enables small, mid-sized, and enterprise brands to expand efficiently in competitive markets.
