Ms. Joyce Holmon has been appointed as the new Clerk of Juvenile Court for Cobb County Juvenile Court, effective August 4, 2025. The appointment was formalized in a swearing-in ceremony conducted by Presiding Judge Amber N. Patterson.
Holmon joined the court staff in 2024 and is recognized for her leadership and problem-solving abilities. In her new capacity, she will be responsible for managing the operations of the Clerk’s Office, which includes overseeing court records, filings, and case management functions.
The court has expressed confidence in Holmon’s ability to enhance service to the public and support judicial operations. "The Court looks forward to Ms. Holmon’s leadership in enhancing service to the public, supporting the work of our judges, and advancing the mission of Cobb County Juvenile Court," according to a statement from court officials.
