A Union City man has been indicted on charges related to an alleged sexual relationship with a student.

Today, a DeKalb County Grand Jury indicted Marcus Lyndell Skeen, 38, on two counts of Sexual Contact by Employee or Agent in the First Degree.

According to the preliminary investigation, the student’s mother reported the inappropriate relationship to school officials in March 2022. Defendant Skeen was an employee at Lithonia High School at the time.

The case will be assigned to a Superior Court Judge and set down for arraignment. Once Defendant Skeen has been arraigned, then a trial date may be set.
