In a recent development in Marietta, Georgia, 25-year-old Brandon Glover has been sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole plus an additional 45 years. This decision comes after Glover was found guilty of various charges including malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, and conspiracy to commit armed robbery.
The sentencing was handed down by Superior Court Judge Julie Jacobs following a tragic incident on September 30, 2021, when Cobb County Police responded to a report of a vehicle crash in Mableton. According to reports, the driver of the vehicle revealed that they were set up by two individuals who attempted to rob them, with Brandon Glover identified as the shooter. After a thorough investigation and a trial that concluded on March 15, 2024, a jury found Glover guilty of the charges brought against him.

Broady Jr. expressed his sentiments, stating, "While nothing can undo the loss suffered by the family and friends of Thadeus Statum, we hope that the verdict brings them some measure of closure." He also commended the efforts of law enforcement and prosecutors in ensuring that justice was served in this case.
